Installation took a week as there were many custom cuts required for the gazebo. I did not mind as the job was done properly and in a very professional manner. New vents were installed and they even painted the sewer exhaust pipe. My property was cleaned every evening and even though you could see that the roof was in progress, my property was always tidy. On the last day, after they double checked all of the trim, they did a very thorough clean up. I can say that not one nail nor scrap was left. They even said that they recycle the boxes that the aluminum came in. How green! Thank You guys, for an excellent job ! I am so glad that I chose you to install my new roof. We have had so many compliments on our home even before it was completed. The transformation with this new roof was amazing. We are so pleased that we decided to investigate your Aluminium Roof System with the Lifetime Warranty for us and a 40 year Transferable Warranty should we decide to sell our home. Having had to replace shingle roofs before with previous homes and then noticing how fast the UV Rays would start to make a relatively new roof look like it had been up more than 20 years was always disheartening. This factor in itself would always go against our selling price. Now that we have our New Aluminium Roof, we couldn’t be any happier just by knowing that, if anything, our roof has added value to our home. Though we haven’t had much rain this summer; we have had a few torrential downpours thundering down. We were very surprised how quiet the Aluminium Roofing is in comparison to our old shingled roof. Definitely we can say that it is much quieter than our steel roof over our trailer! We wish we had known about your roofing system back then. Before calling for an estimate, we did check out various other roofing systems being advertised. We were not too impressed with the appearance, or the quality of the work done. Needless to say, we are completely satisfied with our New Roof. Doug, who gave us the estimate, was in no way a pressure salesman. He was so accommodating to all of our requests. He did not bring into our home the standard intimidating array of samples, pictures, etc. Rather he waited and only acted upon our request for more information and samples. Stewart, Corey and Tony maintained the highest degree of professionalism I have ever encountered from any roofers. These gentlemen, upon discovering some hidden problems with our existing roof, showed us where the problems were and went well beyond our agreement to correct the problems. We do admit, by them correcting the problems, they made our roof look better than we expected. Even with the extreme heat we had this summer, we noticed that our air conditioning did not come on as early as it normally would and it did not stay on as long as it normally does. The roof proved to show a marked improvement in our air conditioning and now as winter is approaching, we are expecting the same scenario with our heating unit. We both agreed that if we were to buy another home, one of our first projects would be to have a New Aluminium Roof installed by Classic Products Barrie. The colour was a bit difficult to choose, but the final outcome is fantastic. The style and colour of the roof (Terra Red) is well complemented by the colour of our siding (Timber Wolf green) and wide aluminum capping (Sandal Wood) through-out the exterior of the house, really work for us. As of yet we have not experienced any leaks, or any difference in noise level, as when it is raining or windy, and it has been extremely windy and rainy in the past 4 weeks. Yours truly, Jennifer and Scott Pike 234 Maplegrove Ave Bradford, ON After 15 years and some, the asphalt shingles on our cottage roof needed to be replaced so we began looking at the various products available to us. Our cottage is located on an island so we had to take into account the possible need for a large boat or barge to haul the roofing material from the mainland to the cottage and the old shingles ( if removed) back to the mainland. Asphalt shingles and steel roofing are heavy and add considerable weight to the existing building if the old shingles are not removed. We then learned of the aluminum shingles as offered by Classic Products and found that they are light in weight so could be easily transported in our own 18 foot boat. The roofing could be applied right over the old asphalt shingles without adding excess weight to the building so the old shingles could stay in place.So our concerns about possible problems in transporting the roofing to the cottage and what to do with the old shingles were unfounded. It took two loads in our boat to haul the material over and proved to be a real enjoyable experience. Two day later the job was complete and sure looked good. Classic Products installers are professionals, they completed the task in short order and left the job site neat and tidy. As such we are completely satisfied with our new roof and the way we were treated from start to finish by the people associated with Classic Products with whom we were involved. We called several roofers and, after reviewing both product and sales pitch, chose Classic Products of Barrie. The explanation and quality of the product were represented in a very professional manner and honest way. After our acceptance of the contract we were told a start date of 2-6 weeks from date of contract would ensure. The roof has not only been started but will be finished in this time span.
